Terms

Last updated 24 October 2026

These terms apply when you use comic-compass.app. By using the site you agree to them.

Who we are

Comic Compass is a Kettle & Keyboard company (“we”, “us”). Contact: [email protected].

Using the site

Reading orders are free to read. They're our recommendations, put together with care and checked against published data, but they're opinions about what to read and may contain mistakes. If you spot one, use the form on the order.

Please don't scrape the site in bulk, try to break it, or use it to do anything unlawful.

Suggestions and reports

If you send us a suggestion, an order request or a problem report, we may use the idea to improve Comic Compass without owing you anything for it. Please don't include anything confidential. We read everything but can't promise to act on every message or reply to it.

Accounts

You sign in with a one-time link sent to your email. Keep access to your email secure. You can delete your account at any time.

Supporter subscription (when it opens)

The supporter tier isn't open yet. These terms will apply once it is.

Affiliate links

Some links to buy comics or collected editions are affiliate links: if you buy through them, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. Links are chosen for usefulness, not commission.

Content and data

Series and issue data comes from the Grand Comics Database under the CC BY-SA 4.0 licence. The selection, order, phases, notes and text of our reading orders are our own work.

Comic Compass is unofficial and isn't affiliated with Marvel, DC, Image or any other publisher. Their names and characters are their trademarks.

Liability

We provide the site as it is and don't promise it will always be available or error-free. Nothing in these terms limits your rights as a consumer or our liability where the law doesn't allow it to be limited.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the site changes. We'll change the date at the top, and if a change materially affects supporters we'll email you at least 30 days before it applies.

The law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live elsewhere in the UK, you can also bring a claim in your local courts.
